STREET TEAM FAQ:

What is a street team?

Street team is a term used in marketing to describe a group of people who "hit the streets" promoting an event or a product.

What does this street team do?

Everything we can to help Pullman Standard! Examples of projects include voting for Pullman Standard in contests, promoting a show, getting Pullman Standard invited to a certain event/con, and helping promote the band’s music.

Pullman Standard also utilizes the street team to help generate content for their social media. Examples of things they are looking for are contest ideas, #lyricsunday ideas, #tbt ideas, and any other creative ideas you have.

There are other things you can do on your own such as: posting about Pullman Standard (in a non-spammy way) anywhere online where you think people want to hear about Pullman Standard (i.e. your social media, other people’s social media, music websites, blogs, and forums, etc..) You can also print up flyers, handbills, and business cards to post/hand out on the street or college campus, but please follow your local city’s laws regarding flyer posting.  Also, you can try to get interviews scheduled with various media outlets or get the band a feature story, album, song or concert review.  You can also make videos that promote Pullman Standard and post them to YouTube/Facebook.

Do I have to live in the USA to join?

Nope, we hope to eventually have teams working all over the world.

Is there a required level of participation?

No, you are free to participate as much as you want. However, there will be perks for participating. We highly encourage the simple stuff like sharing and reposting.
